Lea Bridge Education & Community Association was established in 2019 to enrich and enhance the spiritual and social lives of the community through education, tarbiyah, civic engagement, social programmes, activities and events.
With your continued support, Lea Bridge Education & Community Association has the use of 187 Lea Bridge Road to deliver the much-needed community activities and provision.
We noticed a gap in the local area for the growing Muslim population. So we wanted to establish a hub that would help bring the community closer together with regular events and activities.
2019, Lea Bridge Education & Community Association (LBECA) has started to
enrich and enhance the spiritual and social lives of the local community.
Below are just some of the projects and initiatives LBECA have arranged:
Summer Football in the Park, Sisters Picnic Meet-up in the Park, Adult Tajweed & Quran memorisation classes, Sisters Tafsir classes, Friday Jummah Prayer facility attended by over 40 people, Friday Night Youth Club sessions for boys, Saturday Youth Club for girls, Monthly Food Bank collection service, Inspirational and Spiritual talks for Sisters, and Authentic Home Cooked Food Fundraising nights!
Feel free to get in touch with us. We are always open to feedback and suggestions from our local community.
